Goals
Course Goals:
- To gain a working familiarity with the common tools and processes of computer-based music production.
- To become comfortable discussing basic musical concepts (e.g rhythm, melody, scales, song structure)
- To become proficient with Propellerhead's Reason software platform
- To produce an original piece of music following a "pop" song format (or other musical structure)
- Becoming familiar with the Reason interface
- Learn how to program basic drum beats using the Redrum Drum Computer
- Learn how to arrange multiple drum patterns into the Sequencer
